All You Can Text Therapy Services. No hidden fees, no hassle. Just therapy.
Text-based therapy offers a degree of anonymity, which can make it easier for individuals to open up about sensitive or stigmatized issues. Some people feel more comfortable discussing their feelings and concerns in writing rather than face-to-face.Β
For individuals who experience social anxiety or have difficulty opening up in person, text-based therapy can be a less intimidating way to communicate with a therapist.Β
MindsZone let's you chat about your woes from the comfort of your own couch. βAnytime, anywhere just MindsZone.Β
Our Unlimited Messaging Therapy means you can message your therapist via text at any time, from anywhere. Unlike a traditional session, conversations don't always take place in real time. In face-to-face therapy, some people talk to fill the time or to avoid the silence. The delayed response that text-based therapy offers can be a bonus as it allows you to reflect on your thoughts and behavior, to discuss with your therapist later on.
You can access these services from a Web browser on your computer or smartphone, just as you would an instant-message session on Google or Facebook. The services encrypt your exchanges to ensure that your innermost thoughts remain private. We offer a secure, private βchannelβ to communicate with your therapist.Β
If required, we also offer video/call therapy services. Please contact us if you need to book a session.
All communications in MindsZone channel are protected and fully encrypted.Β
Why choose Text-Based Therapy?
Convenience: Text-based therapy offers flexibility in scheduling and communication. Clients can message their therapist at their convenience, which can be especially helpful for those with busy schedules or time zone differences.
Anonymity and Privacy: Some individuals may feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or personal topics through text rather than face-to-face. Text-based therapy provides a level of anonymity and privacy that can reduce feelings of shame or embarrassment.
Reduced Stigma: The perception of seeking therapy has evolved, but there is still a stigma attached to it in some cultures or communities. Text-based therapy allows individuals to seek help discreetly, potentially reducing the fear of judgment from others.
Increased Self-reflection: The act of writing out thoughts and feelings can promote self-reflection and self-awareness, which are essential components of therapy.
Cost-Effective: Online therapy may be more affordable than in-person therapy for both clients and therapists. This can make mental health services more accessible to a wider range of people.
Continuous Support: Text-based therapy can provide ongoing support between scheduled sessions. Clients can reach out to their therapist when they need it most, promoting continuous progress.
Reduced Social Anxiety: For individuals who experience social anxiety or have difficulty opening up in person, text-based therapy can be a less intimidating way to communicate with a therapist.
Accessibility Features: Text-based therapy platforms often include features such as translation services, screen readers, and other accessibility options, making it more inclusive for individuals with disabilities.
Flexibility in Communication Style: Text-based therapy allows clients to communicate in a way that suits their preferred style, whether it's through writing, typing, or using emojis. This flexibility can be particularly helpful for individuals who have difficulty expressing themselves verbally.
Why choose Video-Based Therapy?
Continuity of Care: Clients can maintain a consistent therapeutic relationship even when they cannot attend in-person sessions due to factors like relocation, illness, or travel. This can be crucial for ongoing support.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Video therapy offers a private and confidential space for clients to discuss their concerns with a licensed therapist. Sessions are typically encrypted and secure, ensuring the confidentiality of the content shared.
Visual Cues: Unlike text-based therapy, video therapy allows therapists to observe non-verbal cues such as facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice, which can enhance the therapeutic process.
Flexibility: Online video therapy offers flexibility in scheduling. Clients can often find appointment times that fit their busy schedules, including evenings and weekends. Though we offer this for our text-based therapy too!
Comfort and Familiarity: Some clients may feel more comfortable and at ease in their own environment, making it easier to open up during therapy sessions.
Immediate Access to Resources: Therapists can easily share resources, worksheets, and other materials during video sessions, enhancing the therapeutic process.
Cost-Effective: In some cases, online video therapy may be more affordable than traditional in-person therapy, as it eliminates the need for therapists to maintain physical offices and can reduce travel costs for clients.
It's important to note that while text-based therapy offers these benefits, it may not be suitable for everyone or for all types of mental health issues. Some individuals may prefer face-to-face therapy, while others may benefit from a combination of in-person and online therapy.Β

What are the limitations of psychotherapy?
β Therapists should not tell you what to do or try to direct your life. Think of the proverb: "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, and you feed him for life." Therapists will help you learn to solve your own problems, rather than solving them for you.
β Some mental illness cannot be managed by psychotherapy alone. If medication is recommended, it's probably important.
β Benefitting from psychotherapy does require work on your part. Speaking to a therapist for an hour a week, and then pushing it out of your mind, probably won't do you any good. Complete homework, practice your skills, and legitimately try the recommendations you are given.
β Therapists cannot be your friend after starting a therapeutic relationship. Therapists generally like their clients, and would love to get to know them better, but ethical rules prevent the formation of relationships outside of treatment. It isn't you, it's just that the therapist could lose their license!
β Therapists cannot read your mind. If you hide information, or are dishonest, you're wasting your own time and money.
What does a therapist actually do, and how can they help me?
β Therapists act as a neutral party who can listen and try to understand without judgment.
β Therapists help you learn about yourself by pointing out patterns and giving honest feedback.Β
β Therapists teach specific techniques and strategies to deal with problems.
β Therapists can refer you to additional resources in the community that might be helpful.
β Therapists provide a safe place to learn and practice social skills.
